This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the furniture finisher pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Bed making

This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the bed manufacturer pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Furniture service repair

This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the modern furniture service repairer pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Fitted furniture installation

This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the fitted furniture installer pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.  It also meets CSCS card requirements.

Foam conversion

This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the foam converter and upholstery cushion interior manufacturer pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Furniture restoration

This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the furniture restorer pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.  It also meets CSCS card requirements.

Furniture making

This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the general furniture manufacturer pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard. It also meets CSCS card requirements.

Woodmachining

This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the woodmachinist pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Upholstery

This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the modern upholsterer pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Furniture industry

The qualification in this suite can be used to underpin delivery of the can be used to underpin the delivery of the core element of the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Retail

This suite includes a qualification which underpins delivery of the retailer apprenticeship standard.

Shopfitting installation

This qualification meets CSCS card requirements for shopfitter, installer and sitefixer occupations.

Furniture CNC

This suite contains a qualification used to underpin delivery of the furniture CNC specialist pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Furniture occupations

This qualification provides an introduction to the furniture furnishings and wood machining industry for those with no experience.

Furniture & wood processing

This suite contains a qualification used to underpin delivery of the furniture CNC specialist pathway in the furniture manufacturer apprenticeship standard.

Furniture EPA services

We have developed slick and effective end-point assessment services designed around the needs of  the industry and the apprentice. All those using our service will have access to a range of high quality documentation to support employer, training provider and apprentice.

EPA for furniture manufacturer

The end-point assessment can take place in the workplace or in a recognised facility. The assessment itself will include:

  1. Multiple choice test
  2. Observation
  3. Professional discussion covering portfolio of work

Performance in the EPA will determine the apprenticeship grade of fail, pass, or distinction.
