An interactive sales training course, designed specially for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom sector, was praised by delegates for its clear business benefits and easy-to-understand presentation.
The course, Accredited Customer Engagement Training, was organised by Acres Consultancy Limited, and assessed by OAL, to enable business owners, designers and sales staff to hone their retail skills.

Making full use of tailored training films, the training demonstrated best practice in consumer engagement, understanding customers’ needs, objection handling and sale closing techniques.
Course tutor Simon Acres, Principal Director of Acres Consultancy, explained:
“Original film is created that illustrates specific closing techniques we train on the course. After viewing delegates discuss the effectiveness of the closing techniques and are asked to count the frequency of agreements to a next stage.”
The training is best delivered with real-life examples and illustrated by personal experiences, explained Simon.
“Few training delegates like role play, so this is kept to a minimum in favour of group interaction and discussion, which always proves a popular and effective way to learn.”
The provider’s bespoke training fims are made by Acres Consultancy’s own in-house video marketing team to give them the true authentic feel to the various sales scenarios depicted in film.
Everyone who completed the sales training course, assessed by OAL, received a Certificate in Customer Engagement.
