Matching the right person with the right apprenticeship has become easier and more effective for employers thanks to a new Occupational Assessment Tool (OAT), developed by OAL’s sister company the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink.
The tool enables employers to measure candidates’ current level of skills, knowledge and behaviours compared with the Apprenticeship Standard to which they will be assessed.
OAT also allows you to gauge the progress your learner is making towards the EPA via six self-assessments throughout the learning programme.
Using the tool makes it easier to fulfil one of the apprenticeship funding rules. This asks employers to supply evidence that learners require significant
new knowledge, skills and behaviours.
For more information about OAT, please contact Sarah Jane Keat by email at email@example.com or call 07852 233913. The tool can be used alongside any standard (not just food and drink ones).
