Employers’ EPA training providers report “feeling inspired” after receiving OAL support sessions.
Oxfordshire based training provider Qube Learning particularly valued a session focusing on portfolios. Qube Learning’s Operations Manager Gayle Mansfield said: “I attended the session with little idea of what would be involved but left feeling inspired and a lot more prepared to support my team. The session was thoughtfully planned and an enjoyable and engaging learning experience.”
John Bullock, Qube Learning’s Head of Data and MIS, praised the strong working relationship between his company and OAL. “It is refreshing to see a training provider and end-point assessment organisation working in partnership to help ensure the student and employer have the best possible EPA experience.”
OAL had been “incredibly responsive, flexible and willing” to help, by whatever means, to remove any fears about EPAs and to focus on the key
elements, he added.
Another firm impressed by OAL support was Learning Curve Group; a training provider for Sainsbury’s. The trainer’s EQA/EPA Co-ordinator Leanne Buyers commented after receiving support at a retailer workshop: “OAL has great customer service. Derek Williams [Awarding Director] has ensured that as a training provider, we understand all aspects of good end-point assessment and gave robust IAG to tailor our approach to getting it right first time.”
