2022 Newsletter 11/05

After watching all of the success many of our customers and partners have had at awards ceremonies this past year, we felt inspired to submit applications to the upcoming federation of awarding bodies awards, and are over the moon to be named as finalists for two awards!

We have a new Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety going live soon, and want to remind you of some of the invaluable support videos we have available via the oawards website. We also have two new webinars available in the coming weeks. In May we have one on the end-to-end process on OAL Online for EPA, and in June we have EPA processes and how to support Apprentices through their EPA journey. Please book on now as places are going fast!

We’re very pleased to announce that we have been selected as finalists for Multi Standards EPAO of the Year and The Best Collaboration to Deliver EPA Services at this year Federation of Awarding Bodies EPA 2022 Conference, Awards and Exhibition on 19 May at Warwick Conferences. We would like to thank all of our customers and staff for everything we have achieved together this last year that has contributed towards this fantastic honour!

We are pleased to announce that our new Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Qualification is due to go live this month. With seven mandatory units meeting the new IOSH academic requirements for IOSH membership at this level, this will replace the OAL Level 3 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. All OAL centres approved to offer the current diploma will be automatically approved to offer the new certificate. Please get in touch if you have any queries.

Just like all of our customers, we want to ensure that apprentices have a smooth journey through EPA, to know what to expect and when to expect it. To help, we have created the Apprentice Welcome Video. The welcome video can be found via the link below, please share this video with all of your apprentices, perhaps as part of their gateway meeting, as it will help them understand how OAL will interact with them and when. This is one of the many videos aimed to assist our customers, for a full list of the videos available to download, please our contact customer service.
