It is critical that those involved in the handling of food in manufacturing, catering, retail or warehousing and logistics (distribution) activities have the necessary food hygiene and safety understanding to ensure that consumers have confidence in the safety of food for public sale and consumption.
Ideal for those with advanced craft or technical responsibilities, team leaders or supervisors. A sound foundation of understanding in health and safety is essential to support effective practice in a wide range of food supply chain operations including those in food preparation, processing, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, wholesaling and retailing.
On achievement of this qualification, learners will be able to implement behavioural safety in the workplace and understand behavioural safety in the workplace.Learners undertaking this qualification will also gain an understanding of the emergency procedures that they should take in the event of a person with epilepsy having a seizure.
